High-quality gate valves

A gate valve is a type of valve that controls fluid flow by moving a gate (wedge) linearly along the seat. Its main components include the body, bonnet, gate, stem, seat, and sealing packing.
The gate serves as the opening/closing element, moving perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow. Gate valves are designed for fully open or fully closed service only—they are not suitable for throttling or flow regulation.
Sealing is achieved through direct contact between the gate and the seat. To enhance wear resistance, the sealing surfaces are often overlaid (hardfaced) with metal alloys such as 1Cr13, STL6, or stainless steel.
